UNITRONIC Li2YCY (TP)
is particularly suitable for wiring data systems with transmission rates up to 10 Megabytes per second, e.g. for interfaces of types RS 422, RS 485. Cables of this design are intended for limited flexible use and for permanent installation in dry and damp interiors. The UNITRONIC Li2YCYv (TP) version with reinforced black outer sheath (Yv) is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and for direct burial..

 

 


The cable is designed for modern connection techniques such as insulation displacement technology, TERMI-POINT technology and the use, for example, of 0.22 mm Sub-D connectors. Use of twisted pairs with short lay lengths de-couples the cable circuits and results in favourable crosstalk attenuation figures. The copper screen braiding protects the cable against electromagnetic interferences.

 

 


For data transmission with increased requirements concerning crosstalk attenuation and where there is considerable electrical interference with cable circuits we recommend using UNITRONIC Li2YCY PiMF, with screened pairs. For optium earthing of the braiding we recommend using of our screwed earthing connection.
