Cable Make-up

ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 SY control cable is suitable as a measuring, monitoring and control cable in machine tool manufacture, in plant engineering, in power stations, in heating and air conditioning systems, in refrigeration plants, in office equipment and data processing systems. The triple-protected ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 SY control cable can withstand the roughest operating conditions. High mechanical protection and a defined degree of electrical shielding is provided by the oxidation-protected steel wire braiding under the transparent, special PVC-based outer sheath. The transparent outer sheath protects the braiding against dirt and mechanical damage. They may be only be used outdoors with UV-protection and in observance of the temperature range. Due to the flexible design this cables are suitable for free, non-continuous returning movement without strain relief or compulsory guidance as well as for fixed laying.

ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 SY is the result of developing the proven LAPP KABEL ÖLFLEX®110 SY/03 and 110 SY/05. All the dimensions are now designed uniformly for the nominal voltage class: U0/U: 300/500. All cables with three or more cores include the green-yellow protective conductor, which is always arranged in the outer layer. The number listed in the column "Number of Cores" includes the protective conductor. The remaining cores are black and identified by white numbers. The numbering is repeated at distances of approx. 20-50 mm, so that the marking is still clearly visible even if only short lengths of sheath are stripped. In order to avoid confusion between the individual figures, all figures have a base line.

The ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 SY cables replace the previous OLFLEX 110 SY/03 and ÖLFLEX®110 SY/05 cables. All dimensions are now designed uniformly for the nominal voltage class: U/U: 300/500 V. For variations on the standard program, such as cores, outer sheaths, special shielding technologies and extended temperature ranges, please consult our Technical Advisers or the Special Cables Department. For cables with UV-resistant outer sheath see page 84 onwards. Do not store in moist areas or open air. This product conforms to EEC Directive 73/23 (Low Voltage Directive). CE

Fine wire strands of bare copper wire, special PVC-based core insulation, cores twisted in layers, black with consecutive numbering in white and one green-yellow core identified as protective conductor, grey outer sheath of special PVC compound, braiding of oxidation-protected steel wire, transparent external sheath of special PVC-based compound, flame-retardant (IEC 332.1).
