LAPPTHERM 145 single cores and cables are employed for internal wiring or connection of lighting, heating appliances, electrical machines, switchgear systems and distributors in mechanical engineering and plant construction. They are also used in various traffic regulation systems. Thanks to the electronbeam connection, the LAPPTHERM 145 has a high chemical and thermal resistance, and as a result displays good resistance to humidity, ozone and UV rays. In addition, LAPPTHERM 145 is highly flame-retardant in accordance with IEC 332.3.

LAPPTHERM 145 is halogenfree according to IEC 754-1. In the event of fire, the cables ensure low smoke formation and low toxic emissions. They can save human lives in areas of high population density and prevent expensive damage to buildings and equipment caused by acid fumes developing during combustion.

LAPPTHERM 145 is available both as single cores or multicore cable. The LAPPTHERM 145 +C version is suitable for all EMC-sensitive applications. The screening prevents the imput of electrical impulses into the signal transmission and the development of magnetic fields in connection cable applications. This product conforms to EC Directive 73/23 ("Low Voltage Directive)CE.

LAPPTHERM 145 cables: fine strands of tinned copper wire. Halogen-free, electorn-beam connected core insulation of polymer compound; twisted cores. Halogen-free, electron-beam connected sheath material of polymer compound; black;flame-retardant according to IEC 332.3.
