OLFLON FEP switching strands are used for wiring and connections in switch cabinets with high heat developments, in measuring tools, furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, kitchen installation and installations in chemical industries.

• Non-flammable
• High insulation resistance, specific resistance of >2 T Ohms x cm. High disruptive strength and high abrasion resistance.
• Minimum dielectric losses. The dielectric constant of 2.1 does not change from 0 Hz to 10 to the power of 9 Hz or between -100 degree C and +205 degree C
• Water absorption less than 0.01%
• Fully fesistant to water and ozone
• Resistant to acids, alkalis, solvents, synthetic liquids, and oils
• Resistant to soaring temperatures
• High elongator, high breaking strength
• Especially to be noted: very high resistance to aggressive, synthetic hydraulic liquids, as are used e.g. in press construction.

The product conforms to 73/23/EEC directive (Low-Voltage Directive)CE.

Fine wire strands of tinned copper wires, plastic FEP core insulation, flame-retardant.
