SILFLEX SiHF - Silicon cables for a wide temperature range
|
Application | Special Feature | Note | Cable Make-up |
The use of SILFLEX cables is recommended whenever heat or the effect of large differences in temperature cause cable insulation to become brittle and fragile within a short period of time. SILFLEX SiHF/GLS cables are used if, in addition to resistance to temperature, high mechanical strength is required. I | SILFLEX SiHF/GLS cables have a tight braiding of galvanised steel wires over the outer dilicon sheath. This mainly serves as mechanical protection for the cable, but also provides electrical screening. | SILFLEX SiHF/GLS is halogen-free to EC 754-1. The product confroms to 73/23/EEC directive ("Low Voltage Directive") CE. | Fine wire strands of tinned copper wires, silicon-based core insulating, cores twisted, siliconbase outer sheath, flame-retardant, glass-fibre wrapping, braiding made of galvanised steel wires. |
