Technical Description: Application
Function of the base plate with slider:
- The slider with die casted plastic spring makes it possible to fix the mounting system on the DIN rail.
- The slider is fixed on the base plate.
-
To fix the base plate on the DIN rail, push slightly back the flap and
push the base plate on the DIN rail. The flap clicks in automatically
when you release it.
- To remove the mounting system from the DIN
rail, the slider can be pushed slightly back by hand then the base
plate can be removed from the DIN rail.
- On the base plate the inserts H-B 6, 10, 16 and 24 can be fixed with the insert holder (lower part).
Function of the rider:
- With the rider the four series H-B 6, 10, 16 and 24 can be adjusted to the same base plate.
-
The size for the select series can be adjusted by shifting the rider in
the guidance. Steps and hooks on the upper side of the base plate
predefine the position of the rider for each series.
Function of insert holder - lower part:
-
To adjust the rider for another size of series, the snap in flap can be
pushed slightly up (with a screw driver or by hand) and than pushed for
or back.
- The two insert holders (lower parts - same parts) have to be pushed on the earth terminations of the insert.
-
The four fixing screws of the insert will snap into the chambers that
are fitted with squeeze lamellas. The screws don't have to be screwed
in. Due to this screwless principle the inserts can be fixed and
removed very quickly at anytime.
- The insert holders with fitted
insert are being pushed on the square domes of the rider. The insert
holders then are being fixed with snap hooks.
- Due to the sideways snap hooks of the two upper parts the notch supplies a optimum of cable space.
- The handle surface of the insert holders can be used as description patches for adhesive labels.
Function of the frame for holding the inserts:
- There are four different frames for the four series H-B 6, 10, 16 and 24.
-
The insert has to be pushed in the frame from the back. The earth plate
with the four fixing screws snaps automatically in the snap hooks of
the frame. It is not necessary to screw in the inserts. But there is
given a possibility, for example for high pole inserts (with high
mating- and unmating forces) to screw in the insert in the frame.
