Product Description in General:
These are new H-A 3/4 male and female inserts for the rectangular connector range EPIC, series H-A for plastic and metal housings. The conductors are inserted at the back (cable side) of the insert (in contrast to the present inserts).
The conductor is protected by terminal screws at the contact (side of the insert). Due to the modified insertion of the conductor and fitting of the terminal screws the inserts meet the requirements for minimum air gap and creepage distances according to DIN VDE 0627 and IEC 60664 (DIN VDE 0110) for 400 V. Conductors with wire end ferrules can be used in future.
